Items being sent home

Families,

With the school days getting fewer and fewer, I am starting to send things home.  Many folders have already been brought home.  These folders are yours and can be kept home!

Thanks!

Return Book Bags

Image result for lakeshore book bags

At the start of the school year, your child was given a canvas book bag (either pink or yellow) to bring back and forth to school a book to read.  Please return these book bags to school.  If your child returned it today, they won't be bringing it back home again.  Thank you for returning it!

I am taking inventory of the bags before the school year is over.  I will need to use these again next year!  Thank you!

All our welcome!

The PTO is starting to plan for 2017-2018 and we need your help!  Check out these opportunities below:

Winter Carnival
The Winter Carnival Committee is looking for help next year.  The carnival is very well organized.  These roles are very straight forward with a solid guide for execution.  This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year.  By breaking it down into smaller roles, it is a very manageable event.  This is not just a great way to support Thorson, but also a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents and staff.  Not to mention....it's just fun.  Please contact Kim Timm if you are interested in helping - ktimm92@outlook.com.
  • 2 "Super" Chairs - oversee chairs & keep an eye on the "big picture"
  • Food Chair

Room Parents
Looking to get more involved in your child's classroom?  Consider serving as a room parent next year!  Have no idea what a room parent does?  Check out the attached guide.  It easy.  It takes less than 1 hour a month & is a great way to help!  Please contact Gretchen Seymour at gretchen.kittleson.seymour@gmail.com if interested.
